About Joshalynn Salveo
I've been involved in CrossFit for as long as I can remember...literally. Growing up in my parent's CrossFit gym, I started participating in classes and workouts when I was just 3 years old. Since then, fitness has been a huge part of my life, and I've had the opportunity to complete the CrossFit Open multiple times while continuing to challenge myself both inside and outside the gym.
I'm currently a junior at Raritan High School, where I compete on the track and field team, specializing in hurdles and pole vault. Athletics have taught me the value of discipline, consistency, and hard work: lessons I love sharing with the kids I coach.
Working with children has always been one of my passions. Before becoming a coach at Salus, I coached gymnastics and gained valuable experience helping young athletes build confidence, coordination, and new skills. Today, I coach our Kids program for ages 3–7, where I focus on creating a fun, positive environment that helps children develop a love for movement while learning foundational fitness skills.
I am CPR certified and committed to providing a safe, encouraging experience for every child who walks through our doors. My goal is to help kids build confidence, stay active, and have fun while developing healthy habits that can last a lifetime.
